Language Therapy 4 Kids provides an integrated and family-centered approach to speech and language for children of all ages. We take a collaborative approach to all our services. When we all work together, we see the best results within the children we work with.
Our Founder
Vancouver Language Therapy 4 Kids was founded by Donna Giachino over a decade ago. With over 30 years of industry experience, Donna saw a need in the community to help kids succeed no matter where they are at, or what socio economic background they come from. We combine that deep experience with frequent specialized training and equipment upgrades to provide the best methods and training techniques to help the kids in our care get real results that will help them throughout their entire life.
Our Story
We began Vancouver Language Therapy 4 Kids over a decade ago, right here in Vancouver, because we believed in the life-changing effects that speech and language therapy could produce in the kids in our community. Since then, we’ve grown our practice, added more therapists to our roster, specialized and honed in on our skill sets, and expanded to a second location in the Okanagan to help even more kids succeed!
Therapy 4 Kids Okanagan
When we expanded our practice into a second business based out of the Okanagan, we knew we wanted to take a more macro look at therapy. Rather than specializing in speech therapy only, we’ve grown that practice into a holistic wellness center that includes a myriad of therapy options. We offer both in-person and virtual counseling at T4KO including Occupational Therapy, Specialized Programs, nutrition-based Therapy, and more!
Our Team
As we’ve grown, so too has our team. We are incredibly proud of the team here at VLTK, not just for their astounding work ethic and commitment to their craft, but also for the ways in which they always go the extra mile to make the difference in the kids’ lives that we work with. Our team are proud clinical educators at the faculty of medicine for the ideology of speech pathology at UBC, and last year alone, they contributed over 325 hours of volunteer counselling to benefit the kids that need it most.
Fraser Language Therapy 4 Kids
We have officially expanded our practice into a third business based out of the Fraser Valley. We wanted to expand our services to those in Richmond, New West, Surrey, and Langley! We now offer home and school based services in those areas! Our incredible SLP, Sam is now accepting clients in this area!
