Giving Back

We show the children we work with how easy it is to give back and what giving back looks like locally and globally. Language Therapy 4 Kids wouldn’t be what it is today without the community impact programs and global compassion projects that we pour our hearts into.

Vancouver Orcas Hockey Club

Vancouver Orca’s is a hockey team for children with ASD. The Canucks Autism Network hockey program helps give children with autism the ability to thrive in a team sport. The program allows them to participate in a safe and supportive environment, gain hockey skills, build friendships and learn what it feels like to be a part of a team.

Vancouver Alzheimer Society

The Alzheimer’s Society in BC is an organization that provides information and help for those facing dementia or have loved ones who are experiencing memory loss.

Child Advocacy Centre Kelowna

The Child Advocacy Centre in Kelowna is a place where the needs of children are at the centre of everything. They facilitate a collaborative model of care designed to empower those working on the front lines of child abuse.

BC Children’s Hospital

BC Children’s Hospital provides care for the most seriously ill or injured children across the province. This hospital is a leader in general and specialized pediatric services and is the province’s foremost teaching and research facility for child health.

Canuck’s Autism Network

Canucks Autism Network was founded in 2000 by the Vancouver Canucks co-owners whose son has autism. This organization is dedicated to providing programs to individuals with autism and their families. They also provide training initiatives across BC and beyond.

RainCoast Dog Rescue Society is a Canadian Non-Profit Society created in Victoria, BC founded in 2014. RainCoast Dog Rescue Society rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages across Canada. They advocate for the humane treatment of animals along with the education and awareness needed to help provide that.

The art of giving back is a monumental lesson to teach children about compassion and thinking beyond one’s self. Together we can read updates about their elephant and how they are contributing to the well being of others.

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust operates the most successful orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. More than 260 orphans have been successfully raised.
